The only defnite fact is that each database connection is either transaction oriented
or not.
They are in a separate pool. Theorectically they should be proportional to what type
of pages used.
they are not interchangable.
In theory if you have 2X the cp client (project graphs) that will be the worst case.
If the # of datbase connection is > 100 then a factor or 1.25 is probably good enough
from a statistical point of view.
If the # of database connection is < 50 then 1.5 is a better number.
This is all statiscally oriented.
