Hi folks, if you can bear to beat this rug one more time...
In an attempt to get a stable ND4 config on our HP-UX v10 platform...some folks
here are experimenting with changing # workers/clients for the CP service. (each
running in a separate process)
They switched from an 2 workers, 8 clients/worker (the config they've been
using for months. it worked but crashed once a day under high traffic)
TO
12 workers, 1 client/worker
and say that things have been stable, however, response time is MUCH slower.
The H/W is:
HP D-class server with 2 CPUs sharing 512MB memory.
Can anyone tell me if it's reasonable that running with12 workers on this H/W
would make the ND4 run much slower, and why?
