Yes it is reasonable. MUCH doesn't tell exactly how much, but
I guess it is slower for a number of reasons.
1.Switching processes takes more time than switching threads.
2. ND keeps all sorts of proxy pools in every process. These pools
are shared by "all" threads in the process. If you only allow one thread/client
per process, you probably waste resources, since no sharing can take place.
3. ND must do more bookkeeping.
Have you installed glance yet? Which processes get most CPU,
are they all in iowait, how much traffic is there between
processes, are you running low on memory, is the system swapping
(that would REALLY account for MUCH slower) ?
