[good things about JSP]

Hi all,

After I read Curt's posting about how he uses JSP vs. Servlets,
I think he makes a very good case for JSP, since he knows how
to separate the basics (JSP) from the advanced (beans/servlets).
And I know that Curt knows a *lot* about how to develop well.

In my experience, this is very fast and flexible *if* you know
what you're doing, and your page designers are smart about Java.
The reason that I advocate servlets is because it makes it harder
for page designers to shoot themselves (and you) in the foot. :-)

This is the same kind of reason that I love using the Perl language,
but would never recommend it for typical enterprise development.

Cheers,

Joel
