1. At this time there is no reason why anyone should use jhtml or nd templates if it
is a new app.
They are not in j2ee spec and jsp is.
2. The current perception is that it is difficult to use applets in an internet
application.
It is due to sometimes the class files are too big and also browser versions etc.
Wherether this will change in the near future or not is anyone's guess.
As of now, if it is an internet app your best bet is still html.
3. As a whole jsp will save you a lot of time for your gui stuff when compared with
servelets. This include the design phase and also future maintainence.
God forbid if you need more then one set of graphic appearance (software product which
is sold to many companies and they all want thier gui or images)
4. If you minimize the logics in your jsp page and try to call EJB's as puch as you
can to perform any business logic it should work out well. Just put logics in jsp
that is directly related to html gui stuff or javascript for the client side.
