Can anyone please tell me what the default action should be (i.e. recognized as good web design) for a search button, i.e. when no search criteria is entered and the search button is clicked, in a web application? Should it be: 1. Reload search page? 2. Reload search page and display static text (e.g.: "No search criteria specified")? 3. Execute a data object with no criteria, i.e. get all records, and load results page? 4. Other?
