if you're going from one netd project to another, don't specify "external" in the
button, specify "custom" instead. then
in the webevent for the button do
return load("secondproject.pagename");
[you can fully qualify project.object]
just because you go across projects does not
mean you change sessions.
if you're really going to an external site...
**SPIDERSESSION_NVP** generates
SPIDERSESSION=the-encrypted-spidersession-value
so you don't need the = + getUserSessionId()
the key is keeping track of the spidersession
value while the user is surfing the "external"
site.
the only way i've seen this done is with a
cookie.
as you leave you need to write a cookie,
as you come back, read and expire the cookie
if it exists.
if you have the ability to generate the url
that is coming back from the "external" site
then you can append the spidersession value
as a cgi param and all should be well.
