Performance issues are usually very complicated and takes days to works out.
Base on the info you post you are very likely to have too many projects
running in one box.
Long delays once in a while is fine.
It takes nd some time to start a new copy of a big project.
But if you do not have logics that will take time
regular delay of more then 15 seconds means you have too much running in the
box.

Subject: [ND] Limit to # of NetD apps on one box?
I am new to NetD, so please bear with me...
Is there a limit to the number of NetD apps that can successfully run on one
server (i.e. without any appreciable time delay/hang ups)?
We are running our web server and NetD app server on the same machine. The
server is an NT and we're using NetDynamics 4.1.2.24.
If there is no limit, then what is it that needs to be adjusted to avoid
delays? Our users have delays regularly (usually 2+ min., but as much as
15+) and need to have the server restarted 2x a week or more.
Is this a cache problem on the server or is it an issue of workers?
(There are 5 NetD apps that run off that server besides our own. It is hard
to say how many users there are at any time because all the apps are
accessed off the intranet and I do not have access to the server nor the
command center.)
This issue has been a big headache and any insight would be appreciated.
Laura
