We are finally migrating off 3.13. On our local machines, we have the application
migrated successfully; we can open, compile, launch, and step through the application.
No database errors.
On the server, we can not get the application to open. We have identical DSN names,
drivers, directories.
We get the "Could not connect to the NetDynamics Application Server. Please make sure
the NetDynamics Application Server services are running." error. The sample
projects
that work will run, and we launched
We have spent a great deal of time trying to determine any configuration differences
between the desktop and the server. The only possible difference seems to be
the
MDAC driver on the server that was having
some problems with IIS. Could this be the culprit? Has anyone run into anything
similar?
Any help, suggestions or sympathy would be much appreciated
