Sorry, but it doesn't make too much sense to me. Can you describe the
relevant header information of an example packet both "on the way in"
and "on the way out", and explain how the modification will be derived
from local data on the masquerading box? Do this with sentences like
these "given this input source IP, look up BLA in this local data
structure, and replace the source IP with BLUB in the output packet,
BLUB being determined this way from the looked up local data".

"Novel contexts", "windows 2k servers", and "group variable", don't mean
too much to me. Thus this need for precision,
