I want to monitor bandwidth with out disrupting the current network setup.
I have a class C network and no control of the router.

I been looking around, and I think that a bridge may be able to do it.
the hardest thing so far, is finding out what I actually need, so I can look for it.

Thanks

Subject: basic firewall question

Hello Netfiler,

Can I have a firewall with the 2 nic cards on the same network.
I have this set up.

<Router 192.168.1.0/24> ----- <switch>------<servers 192.168.1.0/24>

I want

<Router 192.168.1.0/24> ----- <192.168.1.0/24(eth0) FW 192.168.1.0/24(eth1)>------<switch>------<servers 192.168.1.0/24>

Is it possible?

Thanks
