You can be almost assured that the postmaster/root/administrator account on this list really a link to /dev/null. Which brings up the question of how much abuse this list will take until somebody fixes it OR it gets taken down. One of the larger concerns on my mind is that somebody will email bomb the list. It is trivial to accomplish this via a score of wingates and other misconfigured proxies..
Point of the matter : Nobody wants to get 13493714 messages delievered into their local mailbox because this list is poorly maintained and is flood bait.. I am VERY certain that the owner of this list does not want the stiff bill associated with a mail flood that can affect this many people from his ISP. I mean if it happens the list will probably get killed rather then it will being fixed .. and somebody will end up having to pay for the use of bandwidth during the flood no matter what. All in all its a lose lose situation. It just doesn't make sense to not setup control's and management .. perhaps Im missing something.
