The IETF netmod WG will progress the
- draft-ietf-netmod-yang-module-versioning
- draft-ietf-netmod-yang-semver
independently from the draft-ietf-netmod-yang-packages,
draft-ietf-netmod-yang-ver-selection and
draft-ietf-netmod-yang-schema-comparison.

The final, approved RFC version of the first two drafts can be estimated to be
ready 2022-Q4 to 2023 Q1.

Thanks Balazs. Agree the key message is the de-coupling of those two drafts
from the remaining 3.

I'm not sure if you intended 2022-Q2 but that Q is over 😊

We need to roll the per-element tags into the draft and still have some LC
comments we haven't replied to (and it is summer vact period). I think we're
still a good number of months away from RFC. Q4 this year is best case IMO.
