Hi All,

I am looking on implementing HW filters using bpfc.

Very cool! BPF engine offloading into a NIC might be interesting!

This is a process outline

1) Generate BPF file in human readable format -> How to use BPFC to generate
human readable format(labels etc.)..?

What do you define as human readable here? Is the bpfc asm-like language
sufficient as a starting point for doing the programming, or are you thinking
of something C-like?

2) parse and check for (if any backward jumps and correct the sequence)

Done in bpfc and the Linux kernel.

3) Generate VHDL state machine

Also,i was not able to generate JIT or C o/p using bpfc..any help is more than
welcome

BPF JIT compiler is in the Linux kernel itself. I'm not sure if we're talking
about various things here? :)
