Hi Deepak,

You are correct that business demand generally drives the priorities on
issues.

Thankfully, many of us spend our days working with people deploying
OpenStack + Quantum, so we have a pretty good idea of what those types of
customers are asking for :)

The value of collecting input across the team is that different
contributors may be dealing with different segments of the OpenStack
customer population, so its helpful to share thoughts.

On the topic of IPv6, my personal feeling is that any topic we cover that
involves IP-layer data should include IPv6 has part of the design.  Melange
APIs already cover IPv6, and the same should go for things like the "L3
router API" and Security Groups.  I see enough customers using or planning
on using IPv6 that I think it would be silly not to include it in the
design from the start.  We may allow a plugin to indicate that it is v4
only, but the APIs should certainly be able to accomodate a plugin that is
ready to offer v4 and v6.
