i'm also looking forward to a distributed SCM. subversion is just obsolete nowadays and the majority of us uses Git. i'm sure we'll migrate the repository to Git before starting writing, nevertheless this is not the priority now, this is a a planning phase and maybe we'll form a team out of it, then proceed. ciao
