Okay, well, if it's a layer 2 tunnel emulating Ethernet, then there's no problem.

I take it Netsukuku works over Ethernet frames, but not over IP?

In that case, does Tinc tunnel over IPv6?

According to http://tinc-vpn.org/

*Runs on many operating systems and supports IPv6*
Currently Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, MacOS/X, Solaris,
Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7 and 8 platforms are
supported. See our section aboutsupported platforms
    <http://tinc-vpn.org/platforms>for more information about the
state of the ports. tinc has also full support for IPv6,
providing both the possibility of tunneling IPv6 traffic over its
tunnels and of creating tunnels over existing IPv6 networks.

But I have learned the hard way to be very skeptical of FOSS project pages.

They are almost guaranteed to be over 3 months out of date, and even directly browsing the git, mercurial or cvs repositories is unlikely to help, since many projects dont even include much in the way of documentation along with the source code.

Yes! I am very excited! And thank you :) I don't know if tinc works on IPv6, And the tinc tunnel is a layer 2 tunnel. Which means it simulates ethernet if I remember correctly, Also, I don't think internet tunnels are supported yet by netsukuku.

However, To be honest, I'm not sure how functional the IGS feature/ANDNS feature is. I will probably have to program to fix it. And that is what I intend to do! Also, You might want to join the IRC chat, A lot of nice people are showing up there now. ^-^ It's becoming more active! #netsukuku on freenode.

I'm happy for you. I'll check out the IRC channel sometime.

I don't think netsukuku only works over ethernet frames, It works with wlan too.
