Subject: Mailing list attachment policy

Hi,

I am the person who *owns* the computer the list runs on, so I think I get to
set the policy.

Here are some simple rules:

1. If you're not *certain* the attachment will be welcomed; don't put it in.

2. If someone attaches something, you do *NOT* have the right to lay into them
about it.

3. If your complaints generate more wasted bandwidth than the attachment did, I
reserve the right to ban you from the list.

Hear hear. A sensible approach. (I nearly top-posted this, but didn't want to
start another argument...)
