Yes, with several sites as well as Wikipedia; this is on an ARM6, RISC
OS 5.23, and with several of the latest development builds. I thought
it was something wrong with my setup, but a lot of others seem to have
the same problem.

A few vague pointers, perhaps:

When NetSurf says "Loading, processing" the LED on the ADSL modem only
flashes intermittently, instead of the normal frenzied flashing at
this stage.

My home page is www.bbc.co.uk/news and this always loads promptly when
I start NetSurf, as does http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/gl52 which is
often the second page I go to.

I have a strong impression that the delayed loading happens more often
if I click on a URL from outside NetSurf, for instance from an e-mail
or from a URL stored in NeXTBar (apologies to Jim for the camel-caps).
When this happens, if I stop the attempt at loading, and then press
Enter in the URL bar, the page often loads promptly.

No idea of the significance of these; perhaps someone can see if any
of it makes sense?

Me too. However, I think this has already been discussed with the
developers (may their tribe increase!) and I think it would be
difficult to do.

Best wishes,

Peter.
