If you wanted to back up to floppy I would recommend using PKZIP.

Use pkzip -rp -& kl_back *.*

This will zip up everyting to cut down on floppy usage and preserve
all your directory structure. When you restore to a new drive with
pkunzip it will recreate evrything as it is now.

HOWEVER... if you can beg, borrow or steal another similar drive
at least as big as yours then you could install it as d: (or the
next unused letter) and use xcopy /s. This will be a squillion
times faster.

The only drawback with xcopy might be that ISTR it skips Hidden
files and maybe empty directories aswell, so you'll need to do
some tidying up before you convert your old drive to a doorstop.

Good luck,
Mike
