Subject: Registered Nettamer: Address file to blind copy message.

Robert:

When formatting a list file to be used as a repository of
addresses to be sent as blind CCs: you need only place one E-Mail
address per line in a list of unlimited length. Each line must be
terminated in the same fashion as is found in Net-Tamer's ADDRESS.LST
addressbook file.

An important caveat relates to the format of addresses in any
file you'll have Net-Tamer use for the purpose of sending blind carbon
copies. The format of addresses in ADDRESS.LST includes a
parenthetical -- information in parentheses. This information should
be deleted from any file to which Net-Tamer will refer as it sends out
blind carbon copies. I recommend this, not because I know of a problem
in this respect, but because I suspect one could occur if Net-Tamer
sends messages out with the full content of each line in the source
file where addresses are provided. I have noted that the entire
content of a given line holding an address appears in the TO field of
BCC messages sent by way of a list file as they are reproduced in
Net-Tamer's CCMAIL.DLU. When I watch the upload of messages, it all
goes by too fast for me to tell if Net-Tamer actually sends
parenthetical information. But, that information definitely shows up
in CCMAIL.DLU afterward. If that parenthetical information is being
sent, some mail servers -- those to which one UPLOADS their messages
-- might not accept the upload. It would therefore seem prudent to
have ONLY an E-Mail address on each line in the list file -- NO
parenthetical containing, for example, the name of the person
associated with that E-Mail address.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] instead
