Subject: Getting NT To Speak
I don't see why NT wouldn't work with any later version of Hal for DOS.
As a preliminary step, have your friend toggle option 'D' (write to BIOS)
in one of those two main setup screens. You just get that annoying
beep-beep whether it's turned on or off; but if it starts talking a blue
streak, BIOS-write is on.
It may speak too much then, rereading whole screens instead of just the
desired option, but it will speak.
