Subject: Dave Colston's Silence

Hi, folks --

Yes, it's too bad that Walter wants to quit, but unfortunately,
everyone has their limit of frustration. Perhaps Dave Colston
has his limits, too.

If anyone feels that Net-Tamer is capable of greater development
and profit, then possibly Dave has a price for which he'd
be willing to part with his code. He just might have a price, if
he's finally tired of Net-Tamer -- not that I'm willing to pay
for the code myself. If he doesn't want to sell it at any
price, it would be interesting to know why.

We should all remember this: David Colston probably doesn't
want to be told what he should do with Net-Tamer any more than
you or we would, if it was our own work and sweat. Don't
forget that David has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), and those
folks hate being pressured or pushed and tend to put off things
to the last minute -- habitually -- especially matters of
utmost importance.

So the bottom line is, I believe: offer David a price for the
code, if you can afford it; otherwise, forget it. Just be happy
you've been able to register it and have it as it is! It's still
a great little DOS Internet application, worts and all. And we
can't change Dave.
