Subject: Inquiry: Dial-Up connectivity in NY, NY
Hi NetTamers,
I've got an e-aquaintance in NY who can't afford an ISP. Currently he's
using some free web based mail services but of course he needs to connect
to the net first before being able to read his mail.
Currently he's using Juno' free dial-up services but they are
depreciating that service and may drop it some time real soon. What
alternatives are there in the NY, NY area for free dial up connectivity
to the net? Or alternatively what is the cheapest?
The trouble is that he needs to find work RSN but the type of work he
does well requires regular and reliable email. But he can't afford that
until he gets work. Catch22.
Thanks for any assistance.
Philip
