And here's the last Wish List I have on file....

Add the release date to the blue openning screen with the release
number so users can know from this screen which release they're
using or beta testing.

You can't use the address list to fill in the CC field. When on
that line, the Esc. key just acts like the "any" key and sends you
to the subject field. Most other mailers let you use their address
book for carbons.

Adjustable timeouts for POP, SMTP, and NNTP in the Advanced Setup
screen that is used during batch runs. And, Y/N flag to use these
timeouts during online sessions.

In the READER, remember the last directory accessed and start the
directory/file path screen there instead of always going to the
default download directory.

Make function of ESC key uniform for all Net-Tamer screens. (Ex.,
When entering a subject for a message, no choice but to enter some
form of text instead of pressing ESC to abort the process of
entering a message.)

Have our real name (as defined in our setup) automatically inserted
in Usenet replies/messages as it does for email.

Have zmodem incorporated into the telnet client. I realize that
it's not a part of basic telnet apps and I certainly haven't seen
it in basic Windows version of telnet, so it's just something for
the _wishlist_. It may be that by the time it can be done, it
won't matter much. However, most unix shell accounts provide
access to sz and rz, which would mean that if you used telnet to
access a remote shell, you'd be able to download (and maybe upload
or uploading could be problematic with some telnet connections) if
your telnet client supported zmodem.

It has been suggested that a parsing progress bar be added to NT.
On my geriatric equipment I can detect something happening by
listening to the HD clicking on this '386 or watching the HD
activity light on the '486. That something happening appears to be
parsing, and its ceasing is accompanied by text on the screen.

A really quick screen-clear command, something like alt-C,
guaranteed not to interrupt the flow. This would be particularly
handy when on the Web. The way you check for page loading is often
to turn speech off, then back on. With the screen cleared between
these two operations, internal to the talking program, you wouldn't
have to hear the same data as before. What's worse, one often gets
a combo of new and old lines of text.

Searchable Address List. I know there are some utilities for
alphabetizing, but you still have to arrow down through the list.
This makes me not want to put many entries in; as even if it were
alphabetized, I'd still have to keep track of where the page breaks
were. (E.G., Jones is in the middle of Page 3) Of course adding
or deleting entries would change the page breaks. Some kind of
search would *really* help.
Save the whales. Collect the whole set.
