The program fixmail found at http://www.mindspring.com/~n8kl/files/fixmail.zip can remove all html tags from a mail.dlu file. It isn't perfect but most html mail is quite readable. Also program can get rid of garbage in headers leaving only subject: from: to: and date:. I am adding filtering rules so if a message header meets certain criteria it will be deleted, beep speaker with user selecting freqs and durations, or prompt for deletion and it will be at the same url in a few days.
