I am not a member of FSF, nor do I belong to any NGO. And good mailing list practices are neither the invention, nor the property, of FOSS. It is news to me that FOSS claims ownership of anything, as though FOSS had some corporeal existence. It is another matter that common sense is actually found now and then, in real life. > I anyway oppose all patents, and will support, NRC-FOSS will not. > This is absolutely not clear. What will you support that NRC-FOSS will not? Software patents are an invention of the US Patent Office, and came very close earlier this year in the USA to being abolished once and for all. Hopefully, another, more meaningful test case will emerge again in the near future, and this ridiculous 20th century artefact can go into the museum where it belongs. > -- > regards > Kenneth Gonsalves > Associate > NRC-FOSS > http://nrcfosshelpline.in/web/ > _______________________________________________ > network mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.fosscom.in/listinfo.cgi/network-fosscom.in > -- Vickram http://communicall.wordpress.com
