[Even if we budget Rs 10 crore for training and support costs, the company
would end up saving Rs 100 crore.]

Well put.
I have one more thing to add, from an experience on another mailing list. MS
Word users (I assume the same applies to Excel and PowerPoint) quickly learn
to use WordBasic macros in their documents, which, unfortunately, cannot be
distinguished (before opening the document) from dangerous computer-altering
malware code. The cost of wrecking PCs due to malicious code from trusted
sources is palpable, if rather difficult to pin down to the last paisa.
