If it were on HURD what we need is a translator bound to a folder.
Are you planning to write a daemon which will run all the time?  A
tool to facilitate users is a good idea.

Similarly, a plugin on Mozilla/firefox to convert all media downloads
to a preconfigured option will also be a good idea.  This can be done
by modifying an existing plugin called Download Manager.

If I were you I would have named the project FreedomBasket  or MuktaTokri
