I'd be happy to protest if the issue was making their content access 
open vs. keeping it closed.  If it's going to remain closed access 
anyway then IMO it doesn't matter how much they charge for it.

To make an analogy, it's like fighting for Windows to be open-sourced vs 
appealing to MS to give special pricing for Windows to education and 
research institutions.  Is that really the battle we want to be engaged 
in?
