Thanks for clarifying! /me was beginning to think it meant Narendra's Personal Development/Documentation License! J.K.! >> License never need any approval. You can create your own license too. License are just terms are condition you provide for "terms and condition" for using your non-tangible objects like a text or image or content. AFAIK, this is indeed correct. So, the question comes up, why form a new license with a fancy name? We can use a more generic licensing text like e.g.: *"Permissions are hereby granted to any person obtaining a copy of this licensed content to freely use/resue/modify/distribute the content as he/she sees fit, provided that the person concerned in turn allows any other person to freely use/resue/modify/distribute the used/reused/modified/distributed content in any way seen fit by the latter. Disambiguation: The term 'freely' as used above refers to freedom, and not to free of cost "* The only problems to be wary of are: 1) Whether the thing will hold up in a court of law, but then again, that is *always* a subjective matter! 2) License proliferation. Again, the above license text IMHO complies with the definitions of Free as propounded by the FSF, so it should be compatible with GNU/FSF's licenses. -- Sayan "Riju" Chakrabarti Kolkata, India. --------------------------------------------------------- GnuPG Public Key ID: 0xB6506B6F Alt.
