The note/comments from FSF is quite powerful.
I would like to suggest that FOSSCOMM endorse the FSF comments on the
policy and we request FSF to add FOSSCOMM as an endorser/supporter of
the FSF note. (Or one of us can also send as FOSSCOMM, but I feel given
the limited time - the last date for feedback is tomorrow, it would be
more practical if FSF sent with FOSSCOMM support).
A second benefit from this would be that FOSSCOMM could begin to take
formal positions as a network and do advocacy with govts and others,
which would complement our internal mailing discussions and help fulfill
our mandate.
Request comments from others on this at the earliest and if we have some
mails supporting this and FSF is willing to take FOSSCOMM endorsement,
then we could have this done by tomorrow.
