Dear Friends, After successful intervention in free software in schools, for last couple of years SPACE has been working on bring free software for people with disabilities. Started off with program for visually challenged and recently expanded to include children with autism. Like School teachers people with visual disabilities forms a new pro free software 'pressure group' in Kerala :)
For this summer SPACE through it program for disabled named Insight, organised a summer camp for children with autism. Along with server other activities Insight introduce free software for these children. I would like to particularly thank Mr Arun Metha for his support that helped us to get started. If you know of any organisation or individual that would like to work in these areas let us know.
