.... snip .... I use this email id and the sig lines only for mailing lists, specifically for FOSS. The objective is to let the uninitiated understand how top posting screws up a technical discussion which IMO requires a point by point response (not possible in top posting). It would be well nigh impossible to do top post to one group (fosscomm?) and follow the interleaved posting guidelines of the other FOSS mailing lists.
