Dear Mr. Mane, Thanks for your response. We simply installed Ubuntu 14.04 and my CG faculty Mr. Suresh Kumar installed the required libraries for OpenGL Development. My lab admin Mr. Mohit Saxena cloned this system using clonezilla and we got a complete lab of OpenGL supporting GNU/Linux systems. We got support of Mr. Prashant Sharma (Pearson rep of our area) who told us that we can replace the current text of Hearn and Baker Computer Graphics book with their latest book 'Computer Graphics using OpenGL 4/e' by same authors. We found it a unique book of its kind and adopted this book as main text for theory as well as lab due to its simple code snippets. This way things started and everyone is enjoying great graphics with software freedom. Mr. Suresh Kumar is very happy with his OpenGL endeavors! With Regards, Mohit Singh _______________________________________________ network mailing list [email protected] http://lists.fosscom.in/listinfo.cgi/network-fosscom.in
