http://www.opensolaris.org/os/about/faq/getting_started_developers/ The short answer is that the place to start is to file a bug or RFE against the part of the system you're looking at. Next, that issue will need to be evaluated and documented. It may require architectural and design review, and will certainly require code review and testing. It can then be integrated. The code changes are useful at that point in the effort. Without at least a CR to document what's being done, it's unlikely that anyone will want to reverse-engineer your diffs in an attempt to figure out what you're fixing and why. -- James Carlson, KISS Network <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 1 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
