Try fixed ip address configration, i.e., make /etc/hostname.bfe0 and remove
/etc/dhcp.bfe0. Does it work?

At least, you saw outgoing packets, I think. Could you show the
snoop log to me?

I'm no ideaa where the 10.160.2.103 came from?
