As the author of a 10GbE driver which constrained to GLDv2 due to lack
of public GLDv3 interfaces, I whole-heartedly second this!
Unfortunately, there isn't anything _I_ can personally due to fix this.
Believe me, I would far far rather have had nemo interfaces available
for my own public GLDv2 drivers.
