hme and qfe are widely used cards, especially qfe as quad port
cards (10/100/1G) are not common and they provide a good way
to bring in a lot of networking.

eri is also quite common - all of the ultra5/10 boxes have them,
not to mention netra x1, etc.

Don't forget V890s still come with eri interfaces (as well as gem).

I'd personally like to see ce myself since it is still present in lots of
systems Sun sells, as well as their current quad ethernet card, though it
sounds like it'd be a more complex task than the others.
