Solaris 10 has the same IPMP as OpenSolaris and until one is

That almost sounds like an advert...and if we're going to discourage 
people
(in general) from using opensolaris forums to seek help regarding Solaris
then I'll mention sun-managers.

The best community support forum for Solaris system administration
is "sun-managers":

...just don't go there expecting conversation, fancy graphics, etc.

It's strictly questions and answers.
