Hello, I have a pkt filtering module pushed on to both v4 and v6 protocol stack, between ip and NIC. The v6 packets that i receive will be restructured as a v4 packet[ by the module instance available in the v6 stack ] and will be sent upstream for processing. However, the newly framed v4 pkt is dropped by the ip layer, as it treats that the v4 pkt has erroneously reached the v6 stack.
To solve this issue, i'll have to send this newly framed v4 packet up through the v4 stack and not through the v6 stack[ from my module instance available in the v6 stack ]. How can i do this ? How do i communicate between my instances ? Any pointers will be really helpful.
