Before spending money for parts I wouldn't use otherwise I'd like to ask the more experienced ones...
A newbie question: Is it possible to use a standard FC switch, e.g. Brocade 2800 (which is widely available 2nd hand under different brands), to build a switched gigabit IP network with very low latency? The docs let me think so. Not only it should work with fibre optics, it might as well work with RJ-45 GBICs or in a mixed configuration. Thanks in advance, Torsten This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
