I would first try shutting down NWAM temporarily like this:

        svcadm disable -t nwam

and then attempt to unplumb that interface, to see if it can be done:

        ifconfig yukonx0 unplumb

If it can't, then it's very likely to be a problem somewhere in the
kernel, and probably in the driver.  (I don't think that yukonx is
part of OpenSolaris, so you'll probably need to contact the author.)

The next thing I'd try is disabling nwam entirely (without -t),
enabling physical:default (no NWAM), and booting up the system.  Then
I'd try plumbing and unplumbing the interface by hand to see what (if
anything) triggers the problem.

This doesn't appear to me to be an NWAM-specific issue.
