I say ditch 'em.  They're not the same thing as tunables, so the
chance that anyone used them (successfully, that is) in a script or to
set up a particular configuration is very low.  The 'unknown' message
should be just as informative as an 'obsolete' one -- driving the user
to the man page.

(Having an update for ndd(1M) that points out how to get status
reports might not be a bad idea.)
