Garrett -- That was my gut reaction, but I didn't want to predispose anyone. I also have had face-to-face advise that matched your recommendation. So it sounds like nge0 goes out to the Internet. (I will also find out this way if the Ethernet port on the Verizon FiOS ONT is 100Mbit or GigE.)
