Hello list, I updated to GNOME 3.2 on Ubuntu 11.04 with the GNOME3 and ricotz-testing PPAs. NetworkManager now is at Version 0.9.1.90. Since the update, I no longer get a dialog requesting the PIN for my USB UMTS modem. The nm-applet menu lists a mobile broadband connection but if I select it, nothing happens.
In /var/log/syslog the following line appears after selecting the connection: "NetworkManager[897]: <warn> failed to enable/disable modem: (32) SIM PIN required" I tried to enter the PIN maually in the nm-connection-editor but it does not get saved ( ie. the next time I open the dialog, there is no PIN entered ). Anybody got an idea what to do to get my UMTS modem working again? /Arne _______________________________________________ networkmanager-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/networkmanager-list
