I'm not aware of any such work going on right now.  I don't actually work
on Apache here at Sun, but I do intend to use it to host IPP, so I have an
interest in making sure that my requirements (and thus the requirements
imposed by Solaris) are met.

Anyway, I've passed your question on to the folks who should know something
more about NCA, and I'll post back when I've heard something.
