If he can wait a bit, he should be able to get the 5.3 release of
Mandrake release.  Downloaded it and just installed it and seems the
biggest changes in it are in the KDE desktop.  It added the 1.1
release of KDE.   It has added some apps and made some definate
improvements in some of the utilities.  Some other changes I am not
too crazy about, however all in all, a good release.   It did not add
the latest kernel release, but I imagine he is waiting for that to be
released  with the next version of RedHat.
