I downloaded the 7 Wordperfect files from the Corel website (GUI00.GZ to
GUI06.GZ).  I had to gunzip and untar the files to a temp directory, then
rename the 7 files to lowercase gui00.gz to gui06.gz.  Ran ./Runme the
install went OK.   The wordprocessing program that comes with Mandrake is
similar to WP8.  I wondered to myself if all the trouble with Wordperfect
was worth it.

There is a newsgroup at www.corel.com that is pretty good.
