I am using Mandrake 5.1 with a coax Ethernet connection between
the Doze box and my Linux box, and I am having a problem after
installing Samba. When I choose Network Neighborhood from Windoze98
I see my Linux disk after a long (about two minutes) wait.
If I doubleclick on my Linux disk, after an even longer wait,
I see the public and user directories. How can I get rid of these long delays?
Also, I am installing a program that requires libc.so.5. If I do a locate
I find it at /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libc.so.5. How do I install
this?
